Ingredients:
Almonds 10-12
Cashews 6-7
Pistachios 10-12
Watermelon seeds - 1 tbsp
Cinnamon - a pinch
Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
Poppy seeds - 2 tbsp
Saffron strands 10-12
Honey - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup, plant based (except soya)
Banana - 1/2
Oats - 2 tbsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Cardamom - 1
Method:
- Soak the poppy seeds in warm water for 30 min
- Soak the saffron strands in warm milk for 10 min
- Blend the poppy seeds, almonds, cashews, pistachios, watermelon seeds, fennel seeds and cardomon into a thandai paste
- Add the saffron milk, and the other ingredients into the blender.
- Blend on low until the mixture reaches smoothie consistency.
